There are a few minor drawbacks that you obviously know about if you're buying this keyboard- the first is that it's not rechargeable, but requires two AAA batteries. I just moved across the country for med school, so this is a little more of an issue for me than it probably is for most people, as I had to borrow batteries from my TI83. :-p It also doesn't come with any sort of case, so I'm worried that over time, the keys might get damaged from it rattling around in my bag. Also, the keys are a little louder than the apple keyboards, but this obviously varies with how hard you tend to type. It hasn't bothered me during lecture since everyone's typing on something, but is sometimes noticeable in a quiet library.
I find it works very well with my poetic hardback ipad case (link below) because when the iPad is propped upright, the cover that lays flat serves as a good nonslip mat for the keyboard, and the on/off magnets keep it in place. I chose this option because I don't always use my keyboard when I'm using my iPad, and I wanted something that would both offer a laptop-like configuration, and keep my iPad safe in the transition to keyboard-less use.
HardBack Protective Case for The NEW iPad (3rd gen) / iPad 3 / iPad 2 with Built-in Folding Cover Red- Support Auto Wake/Sleep Function (3 Year Manufacturer Warranty From Poetic)
tl;dr, Great, lightweight little keyboard at a very reasonable price. No major complaints.
Pros: Price: compared to other keyboards available (especially the official apple keyboard), this is a great value
++Set-up: setting up the keyboard to my ipad was very easy. All you have to do is turn on the keyboard then go to the settings on the ipad and turn on bluetooth. My keyboard showed up on the list of devices and I clicked on it and it had me type in a code on my keyboard and hit enter. After this I have had no connection problems. As long as the keyboard is on and bluetooth on the ipad is set to on I have not had to redo this process.
++Look: They keyboard looks great. It is small enough to be able to use in a variety of places without feeling like it is in the way as much as my big laptop.
++Portability: Like I said previously, this keyboard is small enough to be able to take anywhere you want; coffee shops, the library, work, or even just different parts of the house throughout the day.
++Structure Design: There is a raised area beneath the top of the keyboard so it is at an angle. This makes it easier to type on than the other keyboards I looked at that are flat. This feels much more natural when trying to type
Cons: Feel: Although it feels pretty solid, it seems like at any moment it could just break if the right amount of pressure is accidentally put on it. I would recommend getting some sort of case for this or being careful when transporting it.
--Battery Light: When turning on the keyboard, the battery light on the top momentarily turns on and then off. I wish this light stayed on because when I am doing many things at once it is easy to forget the keyboard is on so I feel like I am wasting battery.
--Disconnection: I have found that not using this for a short period of time (less than a minute although I do not have an exact time) will result in the keyboard being disconnected until you try typing again. This is not too bad during some uses but when trying to take notes during class it wastes time to try to rapidly press buttons to connect it.
--Key Press: The main problem with they keyboard itself is the keys are more difficult to press and always get the key to show up on the screen. I believe this is because the keys are more shallow than normal keyboards so you really have to slow down typing to be sure you hit each key or just type a little harder than you are used to. Over my time using, I have both typed slightly slower and typed harder but I believe the keys themselves may be loosening and making it easier in general to type.

First impressions when removing from the box are that its pretty well put together for an affordable, ultra-slim model. The battery cover is strong enough that it wont be falling open every 5 minutes, but easy enough to get into without damaging your fingers. The power switch is robust enough that it's unlikely to turn on by accident in your bag.
Connecting to the phone was a very simple process, I didn't even need to read the instructions - which I looked at later and are very easy to follow. It was a simple matter of activating Bluetooth on the phone and scanning for devices. Turn on the keyboard and hold the connection button. The phone found the keyboard and prompted me to type a four digit code and press enter on the keyboard if i wanted to pair with it. I did as instructed, and the keyboard was immediately connected and worked perfectly.
Combined with the Bluetooth mouse I already have, i can now prop up my phone on a desk and use it in much the same way i would use a computer to complete emails, word processing & simple spreadsheet tasks. I also have the required cable to connect to a HDMI tv / monitor so I don't have to use a 5.5" screen if i don't want to.
The keyboard includes media player control keys, which worked with the Android media player for play/pause and skip.
No complaints about this keyboard at all so far. The key size and feel when typing is just about right for what I like... and I can type on it just as fast as i can on my laptop or full size keyboard on the pc at work.
If and when this thing breaks, I would definitely buy another.
Set up was quick and easy and it works as expected. There is a very slight lag time between when you hit the keys to when the letters show up on the tablet, but it doesn't take long to get used to it. In fact, it works well enough that I prefer using it with my tablet at home as opposed to pulling out my laptop. I've found that once it's connected to my tablet and I turn the bluetooth off on my tablet, and try to connect it on my android phone, it often takes several tries to connect. Then when I want to go back to the tablet, it takes several tries to connect again. I've ended up just leaving it connected to my tablet.
For the price, I'm quite happy with the keyboard.
