This oven makes a great gift for anyone who is older, or single and loves cooking small dishes with cast iron. I highly recommend this little unique Dutch oven.

It can be used on a glass top stove but it’s best not to use it over a fire and then take them back to a domestic kitchen as the soot gets everywhere
Cast iron pots are awesome and these are a good place to start on a set. They give you extra iron in your diet and are generally better for you then most nonstick cookware.
They’re more work than regular pots, you have to use a scraper and you have to use oil to temper and either bake or boil the food particles out of the pot. Everything needs to be carefully tended and you must never ever throw them in the dishwasher
But they make food taste delicious and it’s worth the trouble to make more nutritious food
