Price raised back to $330.
- Seagate 400GB IDE hard drive for $100 with free shipping.
According to Seagate's rebate list, a $25 mail-in rebate is available.
That would come to $0.19 per GB after rebate, one of the best deals we've ever seen.

That comes to $0.25 per GB, a great deal.
- Seagate 400GB External USB2/Firewire hard drive for $160 with free shipping.
According to Seagate's rebate list, a $33 mail-in rebate is available on this ST3400601CB model.
That would come to $127 after rebate, or $0.32 per GB after rebate, a great deal for an external drive with both Firewire and USB.
Amazon and Newegg sell it for $270 before rebate.
Update (9/6):
Price on this item raised to $260, so this deal is over.
Update:
Note, this Seagate rebate form has been out for a while (since June), and people who previously submitted one of them will not be eligible for another rebate from Seagate until after September or until they release a new rebate form.
