The large book will have a lot of coupons on everything from restaurants to movie tickets, zoos, shopping, etc. They also provide travel coupons (hotels, car rentals, etc.) of around the same discount as through a Costco membership. When ordering, consider declining their offer to pre-order next year's book at a discounted rate. Even if you do want next year's book, wait until next year to buy it. They will have cheaper prices on the books then. If you are a shopper who would prefer to stick with short-lived promotion sites like Groupon, LivingSocial, ScoutMob, and TravelZoo, the Entertainment.com book may not satisfy your craving for savings. While you may have more variety of coupons in the Entertainment book, the discounts will not be as big as what you can find on the social/group saving sites. So, paying $20 for a coupon book is only a good deal if you love having a large book of savings at your disposal without having to wait around for short-lived online promotions. |
