This OBi202 normally sells for $100, and has not been on sale all year until now. This box sits between your high speed Internet router and a home telephone (like a cordless phone), and links to a free Google Voice account and phone number. Incoming calls are free, and calling numbers within the US and Canada are free. Also includes voice mail with transcribing and text messaging. Take your number with you by bringing this box to any home or office where it can be plugged-in to an Ethernet port. The biggest downside is 911 emergency service does not work, but can be added for an annual fee of about $20 on the Polycom setup website. |
