Details: | 1 Year Red Pocket Prepaid Wireless Plan for $150 Red Pocket is offering 1 year mobile wireless plan for $150 through their Ebay store. The plan includes:
Verizon phones should work, because Red Pocket is compatible with CDMA. They do not specifically say "Verizon" phones are compatible, but according to Prepaid PhoneNews, Verizon does not allow Red Pocket to use their name on their website. Verizon does use CDMA frequencies, and Red Pocket is compatible with CDMA (Verizon) towers. Make sure your phone is unlocked by calling your current mobile carrier's customer service. If you are not currently in contract with your carrier, they can unlock your phone for free. If you need a phone, Red Pocket is offering refurbished phones including an iPhone 5 16GB for $94.50. If you plan to travel internationally, consider Google's Project Fi service. It requires a compatible Google phone (they are a bit expensive) and will not work with iPhones and most phones. Project Fi starts at $30/mo for one phone and 1GB of monthly data usage, and each additional GB of data costs $10. |
