Some things to keep in mind:
  • Already have HBO through cable?
    You may already have HBOMax included. Sign-in with your TV provider on the HBOMax website or app to get more on-demand shows than the regular HBO service you receive through cable, and you can stream (or Cast) HBOMax to a smart TV or device.
  • Have cable TV or streaming TV service without HBO?
    Signing up directly on the HBOMax website does not give HBO on your cable or streaming TV service. You need to use the HBOMax website or app. This promotion does not apply if you sign-up for HBO through your cable or streaming TV provider.
  • See if your smart TV or device supports HBOMax.
    Roku is not yet supported. The old "HBO" app does not give all content that HBO Max has.
